This payment provides financial support for Western Australian workers who must self-isolate awaiting the result of a COVID-19 PCR test result.

Overview
This payment is available to Western Australian workers who are required to:
- self-isolate awaiting the results of a COVID-19 PCR test
- care for someone how needs to isolate following a COVID-19 PCR.
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must:
- be aged 17 years or older and be a resident of Western Australia
- have been directed to self-isolate or self-quarantine while awaiting results of a COVID-19 PCR test taken on or after 23 December 2021, or be caring for someone isolating following a COVID-19 PCR test
- have been likely to undertake paid work during the isolation period
- be unable to work from home and have no access to paid leave or other income support
- not have received other income, including government income support, for the same period of isolation.
