Funding to build partnerships between school and industry

Overview

The program builds partnerships between schools and industry to enable young people to acquire the knowledge, skills and attributes to participate effectively in the Queensland economy and provides opportunities for industry and the education sector to work together to deliver outcomes for students, local communities and businesses.

Funding is available to industry organisations to deliver a GISP industry project in the following industry sectors:

• advanced manufacturing
• aerospace
• agribusiness
• building and construction
• community services
• health
• hydrogen
• information and communication technology
• minerals and energy
• renewable energy
• screen and media
• tourism and hospitality.

Successful applicants will be offered a 3-year services agreement to the value of $765,000 (GST exclusive). The delivery period will be from 1 February 2025 to 31 January 2028.

To be eligible, organisations must:

• be Queensland based
• have a registered and current Australian business number (ABN)
• be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
• hold appropriate public liability insurance.
