Organisations growing mRNA capability in Victoria.
Overview
There are 2 tiers of funding available:
Tier 1 – Early stage
- supports early stage RNA-based therapeutic research projects, including discovery, early-stage and pre-clinical research
- funding of up to $100,000 (GST exclusive).
Tier 2 – Fast track
- for RNA-based therapeutics projects that can demonstrate a clear pathway to translation and can secure development and commercialisation opportunities
- funding of up to $500,000 (GST exclusive).
Check if you can apply
Applicants must be one of the following entity types:
- an incorporated company registered with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission
- an incorporated association
- education body
- public health service
- other incorporated entity approved by the agency.
Additionally, applicants must:
- hold an active Australian business number (ABN)
- have appropriate insurance policies
- comply with any co-contribution requirements
- spend the majority of the grant funding in Victoria
- predominantly conduct and lead the research activities in Victoria.
