This program provides casual, contract and self-employed workers in certain occupations with guaranteed sick pay.

Up to 38 hours (5 days) a year of sick and carer's pay.
Who is this for?
Victorian casual, contract and self-employed workers in certain occupations.
Overview
Eligible occupations include:
- hospitality workers
- food preparation assistants
- food trades workers
- sales support workers
- sales assistants
- other labourers working in supermarket supply chains
- aged and disability carers
- cleaners and laundry workers
- security officers and guards.
Payments will be made at the national minimum wage.
The program will run for 2 years, and eligible workers can make their first claims from March 2022.
