Overview

Funding is available for projects implemented in WA, handling or processing waste wholly or primarily sourced in WA.

Examples of infrastructure that may be funded by the program include:

  • new or enhanced major organics processing facilities e.g. anaerobic digestion, tunnel composting, windrow composting facilities
  • sheds to receive or house material during the early composting stage
  • engineered compost pads
  • shredders
  • trommel screens
  • aeration management equipment.

Organisations eligible for funding include:

  • businesses (normally with at least one year of continuous operation)
  • incorporated community groups
  • local governments
  • not-for-profit organisations
  • regional councils.
