Women in Energy and Manufacturing VIC

This program provides funding for initiatives that increase the participation of women in the energy and manufacturing sector.

What do you get?

Funding of up to $200,000.

Who is this for?

VIC organisations, businesses, not-for-profits, unions and industry groups.


Funding may be used for activities that support women into the energy and manufacturing sectors, including but not limited to:

  • support to introduce workplace policies that advance gender equality (e.g. flexible work practices, 4-day work week)
  • programs or training for employers to create more inclusive workplaces
  • improvements to workplace facilities and safety policies
  • wraparound supports for women already in these sectors, such as women’s networks
  • leaderships programs
  • scholarships for women
  • vouchers for buying tools and other relevant equipment
  • trade demonstration/showcasing events
  • networking events.

Applications are open to businesses, not-for-profits, unions and industry groups.

Applicants must have:

  • a valid Australian business number (ABN)
  • at least $10 million in public liability insurance
  • no outstanding final reports from other departmental grants.
