Overview
This program seeks to encourage new investment that will create local jobs and contribute to a more diversified and decarbonised WA economy.
Expressions of interest (EOI) are sought from businesses across a range of new energies industries, including:
- battery and critical minerals
- renewable hydrogen
- solar and wind
- carbon.
Proposals must meet at least one or more of the following:
- will directly lead to a measurable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions
- will enable further decarbonisation, advanced manufacturing, or export opportunities in Western Australia.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- registered, or be eligible to register for an Australian business number (ABN)
- a legal entity, or partnered with a legal entity, with a proven trading history for the past 3 financial years as a minimum
- provide financial statements for the last 3 financial years
- able to provide a business plan and evidence that supports the capability to undertake the proposal.
