Tourism operators severely impacted by Tropical Cyclone Jasper.
Overview
Funding is available to tourism operations that were closed to trading for a minimum of 14 continuous days as a result of being isolated, or having a usual area of operation isolated, as a direct result of Tropical Cyclone Jasper.
Grants may be used to assist towards working capital requirements, including but not limited to:
- salaries and wages
- rent
- goods, for example, fuel to carry-on the tourism operation.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be located in an eligible local government authority (LGA) area
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- intend to continue the tourism operation in the defined disaster area
- have reasonable prospects for carrying on the tourism operation on a viable basis with the assistance provided.
