Farmers, not-for-profit entities and carbon farming developers.
Overview
Funding is available for new reforestation, agroforestry and soil carbon farming projects in the South West Land Division. Selected projects will deliver priority co-benefits, including:
- increased biodiversity
- salinity mitigation
- soil health
- improved agricultural productivity
- Aboriginal economic and cultural opportunities.
The program is committed to achieving a diversity of projects and strongly encourages the involvement of the following:
- Aboriginal landowners as project proponents
- Aboriginal groups providing advice and services for projects
- agroforestry projects that provide timber and biomass.
Check if you can apply
Application will be accepted from entities that:
- are commercial farm property owners that operate as a primary producer, or on Aboriginal land, or who act on behalf of the property owner/s
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- are registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- use one or more of the approved scheme methods.
Projects must be located in the South West Land Division.
