Business Tasmania helps Tasmanians to start, run and grow a business by offering personalised assistance, targeted information and access to a range of services and programs from the Department of State Growth and other government agencies.

The Business Tasmania service includes (but is not limited to):

• providing answers to business-related questions
• access to services and information to help people start or operate a business in Tasmania
• access to free business advice and support from a statewide network of business advisors – for further information, visit the Tasmanian Business Advice Service
• licence and permit information assistance
• information about government supported loans, grants, workshops, seminars and networking events
• provision of online how-to booklets, guides and checklists
• access to free digital coaching to help strengthen a business’s online presence.
