Morrgul
This adviser aims to help Aboriginal businesses to contract with the WA Government to provide goods, services, community services and works.
The Aboriginal Business Capability Building Program seeks to help Aboriginal businesses and support them through building business capacity in several areas.
The program is delivered one-on-one by a Morrgul mentor who develops a tailored action plan, that is personalised to the client's business.
Mentors help businesses with the following:
- business growth – how to establish a business and grow it
- winning government tenders – how to find government tenders and become a preferred supplier
- pricing – how much to charge when quoting for work
- marketing – attracting customers and how to communicate with them
- government and compliance – developing good internal systems and processes to manage obligations.
