Overview

There are 2 support streams.

Tourism Business Payment

One-off payments to support immediate recovery and business continuity, including: 

  • Up to $10,000 for tourism businesses employing fewer than 4 staff  
  • Up to $20,000 for tourism businesses employing 4 or more staff.

This funding is intended to assist with operational pressures following disruption caused by the cyclone event. 

Visitor Recovery and Demand Stimulus Program

A consumer-facing voucher program designed to stimulate visitation and support regional tourism recovery.

Key features include: 

  • 50% discount vouchers on selected tours and experiences 
  • marketing campaigns encouraging travel to the Coral Coast region 
  • support for operators to re-engage visitors and rebuild forward bookings.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, businesses must:

  • be a tourism business operating within the Shires of Exmouth, Carnarvon, Upper Gascoyne or Ashburton
  • have experienced business loss as a result of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle
  • provide evidence of business downturn of 15% or more for the period 27 March-10 April 2026
  • have a valid and active Australian business number (ABN) prior to 1 March 2026
  • have an annual turnover of more than $75,000, based on the 2024-25 financial year.
