NSW businesses significantly impacted by the GKNP moratorium.

Overview

2 grant options are available (which can be applied for in separate or combined applications):

  • Up to $25,000 to engage a professional to conduct business planning advice, including financial analysis, strategic advice, business viability assessments, transition planning, market analysis, diversification or business closure advice.
  • Up to $250,000, subject to a completed business plan, to assist in covering costs for business transition either by diversifying or down scaling.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be an impacted business that can demonstrate a greater than 25% reduction in business revenue, or a greater than 25% increase in operating costs associated with business dealings with a sawmill or a harvest or haulage contractor as a result of the moratorium on harvesting in the GKNP
  • operate as a sole trader, partnership, trust or company in Australia
  • have an active Australian business number (ABN)
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST).
