Overview
These grants fund short-term (1 to 5 years) projects that help to protect native vegetation and enhance its condition, either through new Heritage Agreements or expanding existing Heritage Agreements. The program is available across South Australia.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- own land fee simple, dedicated Crown Land or leased Crown Land in South Australia
- have land that meets the requirements for a Heritage Agreement
- propose activities to protect or improve biodiversity on the land
- have not received funding to undertake the same activities from another source
- have no outstanding matters with the Department for Environment and Water or the National Vegetation Council
- enter into a Heritage Agreement within 6 weeks of receiving the documentation
- seek relevant legislative approvals.
