Rebates to improve digital connectivity for Primary Producers
On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3
The On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3 provides rebates to Approved Suppliers to help eligible Primary Producers improve on-farm digital connectivity and adopt advanced farming technology.
This is a demand-driven grant opportunity. We expect there may be a high level of interest, and the grant opportunity may be oversubscribed. If the grant opportunity is oversubscribed your application may not be successful.
What do you get?
A rebate of up to $20,000 (GST exclusive) to cover up to 50% of the eligible purchase price of eligible equipment.
Who is this for?
Approved Suppliers supplying eligible equipment to eligible Primary Producers.
About the program
The On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3 assists Primary Producers to take advantage of digital agribusiness solutions to boost productivity and improve safety. The grant is provided as a rebate to Approved Suppliers following the sale, delivery, installation, and training, where applicable, of eligible equipment to eligible Primary Producers. Eligible Primary Producers must access the program through an Approved Supplier.
The program forms part of the Australian Government’s Better Connectivity Plan for Regional and Rural Australia.
To support equitable access to funding, assessments will be prioritised for applications where the primary producer has not previously received a benefit under earlier rounds of the On Farm Connectivity Program.

Past rounds
This opportunity is part of The Australian Government's On Farm Connectivity Program. $15 million was available for Round 1, $18 million was available for Round 2 and $10 million is available for Round 3.
