Tasmanian businesses wanting to improve their energy efficiency.
Overview
The PowerSmart Business Program provides Tasmanian businesses with funding to help them carry out energy audits on their operations and buildings to review energy use and find ways to reduce it.
Expert energy auditors will visit business premises and carry out a number of tasks, including:
- analysis of electricity use and tariffs
- identifying energy savings opportunities
- calculating the financial payback for energy savings opportunities.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, you must:
- be a business primarily operating in Tasmania
- have an active Australian business number (ABN) continuously since on or before 1 March 2024
- employ between 1 and 19 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- have paid for, and received, an independent energy efficiency audit.
