Funding for NT businesses to install security measures

Overview

Funding is available to:

• improve the physical security of eligible commercial assets
• support businesses to proactively address physical security vulnerabilities and risks relevant to their operations
• encourage co-investment in practical security improvements that contribute to safer and more resilient business environments
• provide accessible and timely support for businesses to implement eligible security works.

Proposed works must address an identified security risk or safety issue, be a practical and reasonable improvement, and be able to be completed within 3 months of receiving funding.

To be eligible, the applicant must demonstrate they meet all the following:

• be a Territory Enterprise
• a legal entity (for-profit or not-for-profit)
• holds legal rights to the eligible commercial asset.

Eligible commercial assets include:

• commercial premises used primarily for the operation of the business
• a vehicle, trailer, machine or similar asset that is used primarily for running the business and delivering the businesses products or services.
