Overview

The CCTV rebate aims to reduce crime and empower WA retail and customer facing small businesses to take a proactive approach to crime prevention by supporting the purchase and installation of hard-wired CCTV systems, that will help to:

  • Protect people: Create a safer working environment for staff and customers.
  • Protect property: Prevent theft, vandalism, and break-ins before they happen.
  • Preserve evidence: Provide clear video evidence to local authorities when incidents occur.

Rebates of up to 50% off the cost of a new or upgraded internal CCTV installation, up to a maximum of $2,000 are available.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, businesses must:

  • have less than 20 employees
  • be operating, and have an active Australian business number (ABN)
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • be a retail or customer facing business in Western Australia
  • be solvent.
