Overview

This program supports QLD-based manufacturing SMEs to supercharge innovation and take steps towards advanced manufacturing.

Eligible project costs inlcude:

  • advanced robotics, automation and/or Industry 4.0 and 5.0 equipment
  • sector-relevant technology, systems or processes to support system integration and manufacturing process improvement
  • artificial intelligence (AI) systems to support manufacturing processes
  • associated project costs critical to the success of the proposed project
  • freight and/or electrical upgrades specific for the new manufacturing equipment (freight and electrical upgrades combined cannot exceed 10 per cent of equipment costs).

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • have a majority manufacturing turnover, or be part of a structure that has majority of manufacturing turnover
  • have between 5-200 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees or be part of a structure that has 5-200 FTE employees
  • have a project site in QLD
  • have been operating within QLD for a minimum of 3 consecutive years
  • be purchasing advanced manufacturing equipment or software
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • have an active Australian business number (ABN).
