WorkSafe Tasmania provides small and medium businesses in Tasmania with free and confidential safety assessments to help them develop and implement cost-effective safety strategies to suit their workplace.

Advisers will visit workplaces to help businesses:

• identify hazards
• conduct their own risk assessments
• recognise opportunities for improvement
• understand and meet their health and safety obligations
• ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and effective.

Advisers can deliver information sessions to workers and contractors that explain safety roles and responsibilities, safe work methods, and wellbeing.
