Overview

The Business Development and Assistance Program helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people access the skills, knowledge and resources required to start and grow viable businesses.

Services offered include:

  • capability and skills assessment
  • access to business resources
  • business and industry insights / market intelligence
  • commercial finance options such as competitive business loans and operating leases
  • business skills workshops

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • be at least 18 and of Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • own at least 50% of the business, or have at least 50% of the business owned by people of indigenous descent
  • be solvent
