Building better workplaces: Support and resources for employers

Business Tasmania, in conjunction with Employer of Choice Assist and the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), invites members of the local business community to this event.

Stacey Joseph, the Business Services Manager of the TCCI, will share how you can become an employer everyone wants to work for. 

You will learn about:

• the must do’s when employing and managing employees
• key changes to the Fair Work Act impacting small business
• how to build and maintain a positive workplace culture
• how Employer of Choice Assist can support your business.

You will also hear from Kelly Brown, the Manager of the Business Tasmania service, about how you can access support for your small business through the Tasmanian Government.

Business Tasmania help people to start, run and grow their business by offering personalised assistance, information and access to a range of services and programs from the Department of State Growth and other government agencies. The Business Tasmania team make it easier for the community to talk to government and access available support.

Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity to network with members of the small business community.
