Environmentally Sustainable Procurement Policy – Introduction to Phase 2: Products – Supplier Information Session
From 1 July this year, Australian Government purchases of ICT goods, Textiles, Furniture, Fittings and Equipment ≥$1 million will be subject to additional requirements under the Environmentally Sustainable Procurement Policy.
The Environmentally Sustainable Procurement Policy (ESP Policy) took effect on 1 July 2024 as part of the government’s commitment to minimise greenhouse gas emissions and transition to a circular economy by buying environmentally sustainable goods and services.
Join this webinar for guidance on how to apply the ESP Policy when selling furniture, fittings and equipment (FFE), ICT goods and textiles to the Australian Government.
This webinar will introduce you to the ESP Policy and its mandatory requirements, including how to complete a Supplier Environmental Sustainability Plan (SESP) when tendering and what you need to report on when supplying.
Whether you are a new supplier to the Australian Government or looking to improve your existing practices, this webinar will help you identify opportunities to position your goods and services as more sustainable – and therefore more competitive.
