Helping Tasmanian businesses thrive with local support
Business Tasmania, in partnership with the Devonport Chamber of Commerce and Industry, invites you to this engaging event.
At this event, you’ll hear how local business owner, Blake Ashley, co-founder of Fleur by Forbidden Sweets, was able to take advantage of an opportunity to grow his existing business with advice and support from Warren Moore, an adviser from the Tasmanian Business Advice Service (TBAS).
You’ll also hear from Kelly Brown, Manager of the Business Tasmania service, who will explain how Business Tasmania helps people start, run, and grow their businesses. She’ll outline the personalised support, information, and access to programs available through the Department of State Growth and other government agencies - making it easier for Tasmanians to connect with the support they need.
For those interested in digital marketing, Bianca McKenzie, Mentor for the Digital Solutions Program, will present on the services available through this Australian government-funded initiative. The program offers low-cost, expert advice to help small businesses grow through digital tools, marketing, websites, cybersecurity and more.
And Jess Jansz from My Pathway will provide an overview of the Self-Employment Assistance program, a federally funded service offering free mentoring and support to entrepreneurs, sole traders and micro business owners.
