Tax

This is a workshop to increase your knowledge about operating a business and paying tax.

The workshop will include the following:

• what is tax and how to lodge
• understand the different types of taxes that may apply to your business
• when to register for goods and services tax (GST)
• what are the best available systems to use (record keeping)
• start-up, revenue, and expense projections for your business
• claiming small business tax deductions.

This workshop is for Aboriginal businesses and members of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community. Light kipli will be provided.
