ABS Institute provides support to start-up enterprises. In particular, they help people who are unemployed or underemployed to start their own business and work for themselves. They can assist with developing skills to help find career options for those considering self-employment as an alternative to gaining full time work.

ABS Institute are funded by Department of Education, Skills and Employment to provide new business assistance through the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS).
