Overview

ACT Government's Business Energy and Water Program provide rebates that help commercial businesses lower running costs by lowering water and energy. This in turn helps the ACT lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The rebates help ACT businesses upgrade to more water-efficient and energy-efficient tools, including:

  • lighting
  • heating or cooling
  • toilets and/or tapware
  • refrigeration
  • hot water.

Through the program, ACT businesses can claim back 50% (up to $5,000) of spending on energy and water upgrades.

If your business is suitable, an ACT Government assessor will:

  • conduct an overview of energy and water use in your business
  • provide a detailed action plan with a strategy for energy and water improvements.
