Aboriginal Tourism Grants NT
Aboriginal Tourism Grants provide Northern Territory Aboriginal owned and operated tourism businesses with funding to improve their business.

Funding of up to $20,000.
Who is this for?
Northern Territory Aboriginal owned and operated tourism businesses.
Overview
Funding is available for eligible projects and activities, including but not limited to:
- small infrastructure development upgrades which enhance the Aboriginal tourism offering
- contributions towards planning documentation (i.e. business, feasibility or master plans)
- interpretation development projects and activities (i.e. signage, interpretation plan, guiding manuals).
Priority will be given to projects that meet the activities or outcomes specified in the Northern Territory Aboriginal Tourism Strategic Plan and the Northern Territory’s Tourism Industry 2030 Strategy.
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, your tourism business must:
- be greater than 50% Aboriginal owned and operated
- have a significant tourism focus
- be legally constituted
- have a current Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) listing or have applied for one at time of application
- be Australian registered
- currently operate in the NT
- employ NT residents.
