Overview

Funding is available to support the attraction and retention of early childhood educators across WA.

Grants may be used to deliver a range of activities including, but not limited to:

  • subsidised accommodation (rentals – regional only)
  • intrastate travel relevant to the project
  • relocation packages (regional only)
  • training and professional development
  • support for educators to complete their practicals (including wages for relief staff)
  • purchase of small capital items to support online learning
  • workshops, seminars and talks to recruit prospective educators.

To be eligible, applicants must be operating fully within WA.

Metropolitan-based services must be rated either provisional or meeting, or exceeding, National Quality Standards.

Regional-based services must be rated either provisional, or working towards, meeting, or exceeding National Quality Standards.
