Overview

The Australian–Korea Foundation (AKF) aims to:

  • increase public awareness of Australia in Korea, and of Korea in Australia, and the importance of the joint relationship
  • develop partnerships in areas of shared interest between the two countries
  • increase Australians' capacity to engage with Korea effectively.

To be eligible, you must be one of the following entity types:

  • an Australian entity with an Australian business number (ABN) or Australian company number (ACN), or Indigenous corporation number (ICN)
  • a consortium with a lead organisation footnote
  • a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation
  • an Australian local government body
  • an Australian State/Territory government body
  • a corporate Commonwealth entity
  • an Australian statutory authority
  • an Australian or permanent resident of Australia
  • a citizen or organisation from the Republic of Korea.
