Autism Works in the Community Grants Program SA

This program provides funding for projects and activities to meet the needs of autistic people and promote genuine autism inclusion in SA.

What do you get?

Funding of between $2,000 and $50,000.

Who is this for?

South Australian organisations.


Funding is available to deliver projects and initiatives that seek to build knowledge, understanding and belonging, including:

  • improve the level of knowledge and understanding of autism including autistic strengths and support needs
  • increase the ability of venues and events to support improved inclusion of autistic people
  • improve connection and belonging for autistic people
  • improve opportunities in volunteering or employment for autistic individuals.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, organisations must:

  • have a registered Australian business number (ABN)
  • have an Australian bank account in the name of a legal entity
  • agree to the terms and conditions of the grant agreement
  • be located within SA and be conducting the project within SA
  • demonstrate commitment to supporting inclusion of autistic people and autism communities.
