Funding for Victorian organisations to hold a business event

Overview

Funding is available to support and promote quality business events that:

• activate Melbourne's innovation ecosystem
• facilitate cross-sector collaboration and industry engagement
• deliver events that enhance Melbourne's vibrancy and liveability.

Eligible costs include:

• set-up costs
• logistics
• venue hire
• catering
• presenters/speakers
• production/audio costs
• marketing.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

• propose to deliver a business event, including multi-day programs, of at least 100 people that achieves the key objectives of this program
• deliver the event within the City of Melbourne municipality
• have an Australian business number (ABN)
• be an Australian-registered business, sole trader, company, business cooperative or partnership and provide documented evidence of its legal structure
• provide evidence of current public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance policies when requested, and maintain these insurances when delivering the event.
