Funding for Victorian start-ups to develop solutions to government challenges

Overview

CivVic Labs is an accelerator program that connects startups with government procurement opportunities.

The process involves a government department or agency presenting a challenge to the startup ecosystem and inviting proposals for solutions from Victorian startups.

The best ideas will be refined and provided with $15,000 seed funding, in-kind resources, capacity building activities and advisory services to assist the successful startup develop a market-ready product and impact change on a larger scale.

At the end of the program, you'll have the opportunity to pitch for a further $35,000 to bring your idea to life.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, startups and/or startup entrepreneurs must:

• be Victorian based
• meet LaunchVic's definition of an Idea-to-Early-Stage startup
• commit to participating in the program and related activities
• adhere to the Victorian government policy on ESG prohibited activities e.g. tobacco or tobacco-related products, thermal coal, gambling etc.
