Overview
Funding is available to support WA construction businesses to fill the demand for a skilled workforce.
Applicants may use the subsidy to offset the costs incurred in the migration process, including:
- recruitment costs
- fees paid to a registered migration agent
- visa application fees
- relocation costs.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, employers must sponsor skilled migrants in at least one of the following visa subclasses:
- 482 – Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa – medium term (up to 4 years) or short term (up to 2 years)
- 494 – Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa – up to 5 years
- 186 – Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS) – permanent.
Additionally, applicants must:
- be headquartered and undertaking commercial and/or residential building and construction work in Western Australia, in an eligible occupation
- have a valid Australian business number (ABN).
