Organisations and primary producers affected by flooding associated with ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie.

Overview

Funding is available for projects that are focused on recovering environmental, heritage and cultural assets that were impacted by the floods associated with ex-tropical cyclone Ellie.

2 streams of funding are available:

  • Small project grants – funding of between $10,000 and $100,000, maximum $50,000 for clean-up and restoration of heritage buildings.
  • Large project grants – funding of between $100,000 and $500,000.

Check if you can apply

Projects will be eligible if they:

  • are located in the Shires of Broome, Derby-West Kimberley, Halls Creek or Wyndham-East Kimberley
  • have the primary purpose of addressing direct flood impacts from the disaster event
  • will be completed on or before 30 December 2025
  • are not eligible to receive reimbursement under an insurance policy
  • do not address flood impacts or contribute to the goals of the agency
  • are not undertaking a procedure which the government would ordinarily carry out as part of normal business.
