Funding for Northern Territory events

Overview

Funding is available to strengthen the Northern Territory's event sector by increasing the quality of events and festivals.

There are 3 funding categories:

Tier 1: Flagship

• events that deliver strong economic outcomes
• no limit to funding amount that can be applied for.

Tier 2: Signature

• events that focus on capability building and development
• funding of up to $300,000.

Tier 3: Community

• events that celebrate the uniqueness of the Territory
• funding of up to $100,000.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, the event must be staged:

• in the Northern Territory
• between 1 June 2026 and 31 December 2027.

Applicants must:

• be a legal entity with an Australian business number (ABN)
• be financially solvent
• be a Territory-based organisation or provide evidence of a partnership with a Territory-based organisation to deliver the event.
