Funding for Northern Territory events

Overview

Funding is available to strengthen the Northern Territory's event sector by increasing the quality of events and festivals.

There are 3 funding categories:

• Aboriginal Cultural Events – celebrates arts, music, culture, multiculturalism, food and beverage, innovation, diversity, niche interests and seasonality
• Sports Events – celebrates sport, inspires sport participation, improves liveability
• Cultural Events – celebrates arts, music, culture, multiculturalism, food and beverage, innovation, diversity, niche interests and seasonality

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, the event must be staged:

• in the Northern Territory
• between 1 June 2025 and 31 December 2026.

Applicants must:

• be a legal entity with an Australian business number (ABN)
• be financially solvent
• be a Territory-based organisation or provide evidence of a partnership with a Territory-based organisation to deliver the event.
