Overview
The EDGI provides explorers with co-funding to undertake greenfields exploration in Tasmania, especially for minerals included on the 2024 Australian Critical Minerals list.
Preference will be given to high-quality, technically and economically sound projects that promote innovative exploration or new exploratory concepts and technology.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- hold an Exploration Licence, Special Exploration Licence, Retention Licence, or Mining Lease covering the project's location (consideration may be given to those with an Exploration Licence application pending)
- be the entity which holds the tenement and licence, or lease
- be aged over 18 years
- be registered for tax purposes in Australia
- have an active Australian business number (ABN).
