Overview

The Fisheries Structural Adjustment Scheme aims to support holders and lessees of eligible primary commercial fishing licences (PCFL), fishery symbol holders and skippers and crew members who are affected by the closure of certain fisheries in the Great Barrier Reef region, changes to the Great Sandy Marine Park zoning plan and the introduction of new gillnet free areas in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
