Overview

Funding is available for organisations impacted by the following 2023-2024 disaster events:

  • Southern Queensland Bushfires – 8 September to 7 November 2023
  • Northern Queensland Bushfires – 18 October to 8 December 2023
  • Tropical Cyclone Jasper, Associated Rainfall and Flooding – 13 December to 28 December 2023
  • South Queensland Severe Storms and Rainfall – 24 December 2023 to 3 January 2024.

The program will fund the following targeted initiatives:

  • person-centred emergency preparedness and planning
  • disaster preparedness and business continuity planning
  • social services capacity building.
