Funding of between $150,000 and $500,000.

Who is this for?

Australian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Overview

Funding is available to facilitate collaboration between Australian SMEs and Singaporean businesses to develop and commercialise products, services or solutions that drive the decarbonisation of economic activities or help Singapore and Australia transition to net-zero emissions.

Grants will support projects that focus on priority green economic sectors, including:

  • renewable and green energy
  • waste managment and circular economy
  • sustainable agribusiness and food
  • green transportation and logistics
  • built environment and infrastructure
  • energy efficient technologies and products
  • advanced manufacturing and sustainable materials
  • environmental monitoring, analysis and assessment.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • be a permanent resident of Australia or Australian citizen
  • be a SME, a sole trader, company, or other legal entity registered or incorporated under an Australian Commonwealth, State or Territory law
  • hold all required insurances
  • partner with a Singapore registered business, which must be a separate and independent, non-linked entity to all Australian project partners.

Projects developed under the GGCIP must be a joint project between an Australian SME and a Singaporean business partner.

The project must:

  • be delivered in Singapore, or
  • involve trade and commerce between Singapore and Australia, or
  • foster or promote trade and commerce between Singapore and Australia, and
  • be jointly carried out in Singapore and/or Australia with a Singaporean business partner.
