Funding of between $50,000 to $500,000.

Who is this for?

Operators of a landfill and/or resource recovery facility in Tasmania.

Overview

The objectives of the program are to:

  • divert materials from landfill
  • promote the Tasmanian circular economy
  • makes improvements in the reduction, reuse, repair, recycling, and recovery of priority materials in accordance with the Waste Hierarchy.

Priority materials include:

  • construction and demolition products and materials
  • plastics products and packaging
  • agricultural, aquacultural and industrial plastics
  • organics
  • tyres
  • textiles
  • oil and chemical solvents.

Check if you can apply

Eligible applicants must:

  • have a registered Australian business number (ABN) or an Australian company number (ACN)
  • be registered for goods and service tax (GST)
  • undertaking a project in Tasmania
  • be able to demonstrate appropriate Work Cover and public liability insurance for the proposed project.
