Who is this for?
Operators of a landfill and/or resource recovery facility in Tasmania.
Overview
The objectives of the program are to:
- divert materials from landfill
- promote the Tasmanian circular economy
- makes improvements in the reduction, reuse, repair, recycling, and recovery of priority materials in accordance with the Waste Hierarchy.
Priority materials include:
- construction and demolition products and materials
- plastics products and packaging
- agricultural, aquacultural and industrial plastics
- organics
- tyres
- textiles
- oil and chemical solvents.
