Access to a comprehensive learning program and one-to-one mentoring and support.

Participants are eligible to get up to $135k in non-equity grant funding, subject to performance milestones and competitive assessment.

Who is this for?

Start-ups and SMEs with renewable energy technologies looking to expand into India.

Overview

The RISE Accelerator program supports startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working on innovative technology and are considering expansion between Australia and India.

Startups and SMEs selected for the program benefit from a range of cross-border capacity building activities and dedicated mentorship. They are supported to:

  • gain valuable market, cultural and regulatory insight into the Indian market
  • fast track connections to the right partners and customers
  • pilot, adapt and validate technology for a new market

There is no charge for startups to apply for the RISE Accelerator program. 

Round 3 of the program supports businesses with technologies that support clean and renewable energy manufacturing, storage, and management challenges. This may include novel solutions in solar, battery, wind, and hydrogen technologies.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible for the program, you must:

  • be a company incorporated in Australia with ABN and ACN or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust
  • not had revenue of more than AU$20 million in any of the last 3 financial years
  • registered for GST
  • have a solution at TRL 7 or higher. Solutions at TRL 5-6 that have a clear potential to rapidly advance through expansion into India may be considered.
  • be headquartered or domiciled in Australia
  • have or be actively developing a technology or solution that aligns with the Round’s Challenge Statement/s
