Support for small live music venues in QLD

Overview

Funding is available to support:

• venue improvements that increase accessibility or patron capacity, or that reduce operating costs such as insurance or security
• equipment purchases that increase the earning potential and profit from current operations or new activities
• offsetting costs of trialling alternative venue use outside of standard business hours that could lead to new revenue streams

Check if you can apply

To be eligible for funding, venues must:

• be based in Queensland and have a capacity of 500 persons or fewer
• meet the definition of a live music venue
• not contain gaming machines
• be a viable ongoing business.
