The Ammaroo Phosphate project is a two stage development: Stage 1 involves a phosphate rock and extraction open cut mine at the Ammaroo deposit and a beneficiation and chemical plant complex built on the Ammaroo mining leases. Stage 2 will see the development of a value added processing facility designed to produce granulated fertilisers for use within Australia and for export to targeted markets in Asia. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $3.5 billion and would create approximately 900 construction jobs and 560 ongoing jobs. |

The Australia Asia Power Link (AAPL) Project includes three components, a 10 gigawatt solar farm array built over 12,000 hectares in the Barkly region near Tennant Creek, battery storage facilities in Darwin and Singapore and a high voltage direct current transmission line between the solar farm and the Darwin Harbour. The project would link to Singapore’s electricity grid and have the potential to significantly expand the renewable energy and battery storage industries in Australia. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $30 billion and would create approximately 1,500 construction job and 350 ongoing jobs. |

The Australian Renewable Energy Hub will be a green hydrogen and ammonia production facility. The project includes a 26 gigawatt hybrid wind and solar power plant that will produce at export scale, as well as supply industries in the Pilbara and Broome Region, creating new jobs and supporting economic growth over the next 50 years. The project has a projected capital expenditure $53.6 billion and would create approximately 5,000 construction jobs and 3,000 ongoing jobs. |

The Battery Anode Material Facility will be a processing facility located in the Kwinana Strategic Industrial Area in south-west Western Australia to produce high purity spherical graphite for direct supply to battery anode manufacturers overseas. The Project will be developed in stages, with an ultimate production capacity of 20,000 tonnes per annum at full production. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $0.100 billion and would create approximately 250 construction jobs and 65 ongoing jobs. |

The Broken Hill Cobalt Project will produce high purity cobalt sulphate from a large cobalt deposit located near Broken Hill, NSW. The cobalt sulphate will be exported for the use in the manufacture of lithium ion batteries globally. The project will also produce elemental sulphur which is a key ingredient in fertiliser production helping to reduce Australia’s dependence on fertiliser imports. The Project has a projected capital expenditure of $0.56 billion and will support approximately 450 construction jobs and 410 ongoing jobs. |

The Finniss Lithium Project 25km south-west of Darwin Port, Northern Territory will consist of an open pit and underground lithium deposit, and a dense media separation processing plant. The Project will be the first Lithium plant outside Western Australia and is expected to produce 175,000 tpa of spodumene concentrate over a minimum seven year mine life. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $0.073 billion and would create approximately 360 construction jobs and 250 ongoing jobs. |

The Goschen Zircon and Rare Earth Minerals Project will consist of a mine in Victoria and refinery in South Australia. The project will develop a combination of rare earth oxide products, mixed heavy rare earth carbonate concentrates, and zirconium and titanium minerals. The Hawsons Iron Limited project will establish a green field magnetite mine near Broken Hill, NSW, to produce high-grade magnetite concentrate for low-emissions steel manufacturing. This project has received a renewal of Major Project Status (previously March 2018 – March 2021). The project has a projected capital expenditure of $1.9 billion and will support approximately 1,200 construction jobs, and 500 ongoing jobs over the 20-year operating period. |

The project will develop and operate a processing plant located at Kwinana, Western Australia to produce high-purity alumina for use in growth tech applications. High purity alumina is sought after for its corrosion and scratch resistance and its ability to withstand extreme temperatures. FYI Resources’ Cadoux mine is being developed as part of this project and will provide kaolin feedstock to the processing plant. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $0.269 billion supporting around 200 construction and 140 ongoing jobs. |

The Ichthys Gas Field Development project is commencing its Phase 2 which involves the installation of subsea infrastructure to support the drilling of 30 additional wells, modifications to the Central Processing Facility, Floating Production Storage and Offloading Facility, and onshore processing facilities in Darwin. Phase 1 of the project currently exports 8.9 million tonnes of LNG per-annum. Phase 2 of the project has a projected capital expenditure of $14.2 billion, and, combined with phase one, is supporting approximately 1,800 jobs per year over the project’s 40 year life. |

The Kalgoorlie Nickel Project will mine and process ore into high quality cobalt and nickel Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate for use in the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries globally. This will support the production of a range of emerging clean energy technologies, including electric vehicles. The Project is located 75 km north of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder mining centre, within the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $1.165 billion, supporting approximately 1,500 construction jobs per annum during the 3 year construction period and 500 ongoing jobs per annum over the project’s 25 year operational period. |

Ultimately, the processed material will form an essential element for use in the development of wind turbines and electric vehicles. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $0.575 billion, and created approximately 290 construction jobs and 128 ongoing jobs. |

The Kumpupintil Lake Brine and Sulphate of Potash Project involves the construction and operation of a potash mine in Newman, Western Australia. The mine is expected to extract approximately 400,000 tpa of organically certifiable Sulphate of Potash (SOP) through a process of solar evaporation of brine obtained from the playa sediments of Lake Disappointment. SOP is a premium source of potassium fertiliser (also known as potash) used for higher quality agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, grape-vines, potatoes and flowers. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $0.45 billion, supporting approximately 230 construction jobs and 200 ongoing jobs. |

Project Haber, located near Geraldton in Western Australia’s Mid-West Region, will produce up to 1.4 million tonnes per annum of urea for use in domestic and international fertiliser production. Natural gas and green hydrogen will be used in the manufacturing process. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $3 billion and would support 1,135 jobs each year during the three-year construction phase and 200 ongoing jobs. |

Project Koete will establish three Tier IV data centre platforms in Perth, Dampier and Darwin to support digital connectivity for both industry and community across regional and remote Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and provide safe and scalable back-up data hubs for global multi-national corporations with operations in Asia-Pacific region. The data centres will be connected via an 11,000km subsea telecommunications cable system comprising 16 fibre pairs that will provide domestic connectivity between Perth and Darwin and internationally connectivity (via Darwin) with landings in Jakarta, Singapore and Malaysia and international connectivity between Singapore and the West Coast of America. This project has received a renewal of Major Project Status (previously March 2017 – March 2020). The project has a projected capital expenditure of $2.0 billion and will support approximately 3,000 jobs during a five-year construction period, and 1,000 ongoing jobs over the 20-year project life. |

The Sandy Ridge project, located approximately 240km northwest of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, will extract Kaolin clay mainly for the southeast Asian export market for use in ceramics. The resulting voids will then be utilised for the permanent isolation of difficult to manage waste materials (known as Controlled Wastes in WA) and low level radioactive wastes (e.g., smoke detectors) in the tectonically stable clay bed. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $0.087 billion and would create approximately 80 construction jobs and 50 ongoing jobs. |

The Seadragon offshore wind farm is a proposed project by Flotation Energy Pty Ltd to construct an offshore wind farm in Commonwealth waters off the coast of Ninety Mile Beach, which will connect into Victoria’s electricity network. The proposal includes up to 150 wind turbines and a network of subsea cables, with an indicative generation capacity of 1.5 gigawatts. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $6.5 billion and would create approximately 1600 construction jobs and 200 ongoing jobs over 35 years. |

Upon successful validation of the initial FLNG vessel, Transborders Energy plan to develop multiple vessels that can be used across stranded gas resources. The vessel will have a liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity of approximately 1.5 million tonnes per annum. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $4.07 billion and will support approximately 150 construction jobs and 100 ongoing jobs. |

The Star of the South Offshore Windfarm project, located off the Gippsland coast of Victoria, aims to be Australia’s first offshore wind project. The project will supply up to 2.2 gigawatts of renewable energy to the National Electricity Market, contributing up to 20 percent of Victoria’s electricity when fully operational. The project comprises both offshore and onshore assets, including wind turbines, substation and platforms, a network of subsea cables, underground and overhead powerlines, and modified ports. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $8-10 billion and will directly support approximately 2,280 construction jobs and 300 ongoing jobs, along with a significant number of indirect and induced jobs within the Gippsland region. |

The project will produce 25,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of nickel and 7000 tpa cobalt as high-purity sulphates for direct supply to battery manufacturers in Asia, Europe and America. The project has a projected capital expenditure of $2.4 billion and will support approximately 1,700 construction jobs and 380 ongoing jobs. |
