EPE Oceania Pty Ltd | ELO2 Consortium Trailblazer Stage 2: Roo-ver Mission | The ELO2 consortium led by EPE Oceania Pty Ltd (EPE) and Lunar Outpost Oceania, will leverage the technologies developed and tested in the Moon to Mars (M2M) Trailblazer Stage 1 to deliver an Australian-designed and operated foundational services lunar rover system in Stage 2. The rover, called "Roo-ver", will collect and analyse samples of lunar regolith, advancing our understanding of the Moon. ELO2 will remotely operate the lunar rover mission from Australia demonstrating Australia’s key capabilities in remote operations, autonomous navigation, artificial intelligence (AI) and other critical technologies. The consortium will leverage the capability and capacity of the ELO2 partners and enable industry growth in Australia. The project will benefit from Lunar Outpost's technical and delivery experience in similar lunar projects and EPE's track record of delivery for government and extreme environment robotics, and will involve contributions from 10 Australian universities. | $42,000,000 |

Zangold Pty Ltd | Foundational Australian Moon-to-Mars Services | Zangold (trading as EPE), together with Lunar Outpost Oceania, has formed the project consortium of leading Australian industrial, academic, and scientific institutions to deliver the Foundation Services Demonstration planned for Australia’s first Lunar Rover. The project aims to deliver a cost-efficient, rapidly deployable, minimum-risk Rover solution leveraging Lunar Outpost’s high-TRL MAPP rover platform, which will already have visited the lunar south pole before the Trailblazer Preliminary Design Review. This cross-disciplinary teaming arrangement directly supports the Australian Space Agency’s goals of creating skilled jobs, increasing national space capability, forming key partnerships, and inspiring a future workforce. | $3,999,908 |
