Funding for Victorian multicultural media outlets

Overview

Support is available to multicultural media outlets to better reach and serve their communities through print, radio, broadcasting and digital media platforms.

Funding may be used for:

• production and publication costs, including printing
• equipment (e.g. webcasting or audio streaming equipment, video editing suites, sound and software program, printers, microphones and headphones etc)
• job-specific training for staff to ensure they are well-equipped to continue supporting multicultural communities
• training and development costs for volunteers.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, organisations must:

• be a multilingual or multicultural media organisation operating in Victoria
• have been operating as a multicultural media organisation as of 1 April 2024
• have a current Australian business number (ABN).
