Who is this for?
Primary producers impacted by the northern and central Queensland monsoon and flooding.
Overview
Funding may be used to:
- restock livestock lost as a direct consequence of the disaster event
- transport or freight costs associated with replacement of lost livestock
- restore or replace lost or damaged on-farm infrastructure.

To be eligible, applicants must own a primary production enterprise in one of the following local government areas:
- Boulia Shire Council
- Burke Shire Council
- Carpentaria Shire Council
- Cloncurry Shire Council
- Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire Council
- Mornington Shire Council
- Mount Isa Shire Council.
Additionally, applicants must:
- be able to demonstrate and have verified the losses suffered as a direct result from the disaster event
- be able to make the required co-contribution of cash funds to match the grant funds requested
- have been approved for a grant under the Extraordinary Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants Scheme prior to making an application for this program
- demonstrate the ongoing viability of their primary production enterprise.
