What do you get?
Grants between $3 million and $10 million.
Grant amounts can be up to 50% of eligible project expenditure.
Who is this for?
Eligible medium to large businesses (greater than 20 employees), including Indigenous businesses.
Overview
The Industry Transformation Grant Opportunity is part of the Northern Australia Development Program which focuses on economic diversification and job creation through support for scaling up and growing businesses, including Indigenous businesses, in Northern Australian communities.
The program has 2 elements:
- grant opportunities, including Business Development Grants and Industry Transformation Grants
- Business Advisory services, which give access to advice and services to build and strengthen businesses.
The advisory service connects eligible applicants recommended by the assessment committee with experts to strengthen business performance and maximise a businesses impact in a region.
Strengthening Northern Australia Business Advisory Services
Where the assessment committee has recommended a successful grantee undertakes an advisory service, the businesses will be paired with an independent facilitator. Your facilitator will assist your business to focus investment in ways that:
- build long-term resilience and business strength
- consider options to diversify and expand commercial offerings
- develop new markets and contribute to the development and growth of a region.
The facilitator will help you identify opportunities to improve your business and a roadmap with recommendations will be provided.
What you get
Access to a local, independent business expert, who'll work with you to strengthen and grow your business. You'll get a plan with strategies and goals to achieve in the immediate, medium and long-term. To help achieve these goals they can offer access to:
- face-to-face advice
- extensive networks
- national information and resources
- strategies to build your business
- specialists unique to your business need
- access to learning events tailored and targeted for Northern Australia businesses.
Strengthening Northern Australia Business Advisory Services are provided at no cost to your business. However, you'll need to invest your time to get the most out of it.
