Funding for event organisers in Queensland

Overview

Queensland Destination Events Program provides funding to event organisers staging events held entirely in Queensland.

The event should:

• generate local economic activity and development in the host destination
• attract visitors to the region
• drive social and community outcomes for the region
• enhance the profile of the region.

There are 2 tiers of funding available:

• destination events funding – amounts between $10,000 and $25,000
• significant events funding – amounts between $25,000 and $100,000.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

• have an Australian business number (ABN)
• be either a corporation registered with ASIC, or an Incorporated Association
• be conducting an event that takes place entirely within Queensland.

To be eligible for significant event funding, the event must be (at a minimum) in its third year.
