TAS small businesses impacted by the severe weather event commencing 26 August 2024.
Overview
Funding is available to help small businesses impacted by the severe weather event:
- with the costs of clean-up and reinstatement
- to continue or recommence operations as soon as possible where the impact has been severe.
2 tiers of funding are available to help pay for clean-up and reinstatement costs:
- Tier 1 – funding of $2,500 to support initial costs
- Tier 2 – subsequent funding of $22,500 to support ongoing costs.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be a sole operator or a small business employing 19 or fewer full-time equivalent employees (FTEs)
- hold an Australian business number (ABN) at the time of the severe weather event commencing 26 August 2024
- have suffered direct damage to premises and/or tools
- be claiming for costs relating to clean-up activities
- be primarily responsible for meeting the costs claimed.
